This past week, Code Drifters had the pleasure of kicking off our monthly Atlanta Startup Drinks event! We’re so thankful for everyone who came out, shared their presence, and added to the lively round-table of ideas at this much-anticipated reunion. Held at Cypress Street in the heart of Midtown, the event buzzed with energy as we networked, shared ideas, and discussed the ever-evolving world of tech and entrepreneurship.

The Atmostphere

A hometown favorite, Cypress Street, provided the perfect backdrop for the event. Nestled on a cozy corner that soaks up the hum of the city, its outdoor patio, quality drinks, and hearty pub fare created a comfortable blend of professionalism and casual collaboration. This relaxed yet focused setting encouraged open conversations about mutual startup challenges, tech trends, and the power of empowering each other through valuable advice and friendly exchanges among seasoned professionals.

Some standour moments included a great brainstorming session with fellow startup founder Sherene Ronald, where we exchanged ideas on ideal target markets and securing viable leads. We also had the pleasure of connecting with the gentelmen of Georgia Tech’s Department of Corporate Engagement, Olof Westerstahl and Bill Cutts. They’re eager to have the university more involved in the startup scene and we look forward to collaborating with them at future events!
